Maldives
Like speaks of paradise-dust, haphazardly tossed
across the blue Indian Ocean, the Maldives consist of over 1000
islands. Almost all have white coral sands, lagoons where turquoise
comes in many shades and underwater coral that invites the adventurous
diver to come down and take a closer look. In the deeper lagoons
the multitude of marine species is a must see.
The islands are in the main fairly small, so hotels are spread almost one to an island and there is little chance of overcrowding.
A water sport paradise, sailing scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing or just enjoying the peace and quiet while you sun-worship on the soft sandy beaches, are the principle pleasures and more than enough to keep you wanting to stay forever or come back as soon as you can.
